Caring, open, accepting, nurturing, trustworthy.What are some character strengths which would be considered important for a massage therapist?
Honestly, there are several.





Honesty - You have to be honest with your clients.





Caring - You actually need to care about your clients





Integrity - You have to be able to keep your mouth shut about your clients - even famous ones.





Trustworthy - Your clients have to be able to trust you





Reliable - You have to be there when you say you will be





Flexible - You need to be able to meet your clients needs and they will all be different





Polite - You cannot be rude to clients, it is never acceptable even when they are rude to you





Stamina - You are sometimes on your feet all day with little breaks





Maturity - You have to be mature





Communication Skills - You have to be able to talk to the client openly so you can understand what they need





Sensivity - You have to have compassion for what your client is going through





Self Confidence - If you don't believe in yourself your client will feel it.

Well you definitely need to make your client feel comfortable around you so outgoing, friendly, not too pushy and not so outgoing that someone who is less outgoing feels uncomfortable around you. Oh and maybe a good listener too.
you must be pacient kind caring and above all you have to be a people person.
