What kind of college degree would i need if i were to become a massage therapist?

alot of people have been saying that you would need a massage therapist certification.. but do you count that as a college degree?

please let me know what you think. What kind of college degree would i need if i were to become a massage therapist?
Massage Therapy is typically taught in a trade school, similar to cosmetology. Most schools are going to be 500 to 1000 hours of training, which can be accomplished in 6-12 months. A certification is NOT a college degree. A degree typically takes at least two years to accomplish in the standard college setting. There are, however, massage therapy schools that offer an Associates Degree in Massage Therapy, which in that case, it could be considered a college degree. I'm curious. Who are all these people saying this? What kind of college degree would i need if i were to become a massage therapist?
Massage therapy does not require a college degree. It is a specialized trade that you learn from a trade school. You can search the internet for massage schools in your area. Once completing the school, you take a certification exam issued by your state (depending on what state you are in - some states do not require certification), and then you receive your license to practice.
No, it doesn't count as a college degree. The certification is 'similar' to being certified in CPR, in that you can perform it and have something to show to prove it.
I don't know exactly but you can have a look at the blog below, I'm 100% sure that you can find your answer ther since I've found mine.
